00:00:00: So, if you were looking back now at Ollie of twenty-two and that founding team what was there any?

00:00:24: every situation is different?

00:00:25: Of course.

00:00:26: But as a rainy when you look back.

00:00:28: so any kind of really key advice that you'd give like in That very early founding period

00:00:36: For us I think because all three of us had done a placement we were then creating a website to help other students find the placement.

00:00:46: We were our own user, which just gone through that process with all had I guess the same experience at Loughborough but equally on different courses and we'd go into different companies.

00:00:58: But we knew going through what the process was like going through it And some of our first hires.

00:01:04: there's two people who have done a placement at IBM.

00:01:08: They are exactly target audience And they're also that the people who've experienced, maybe their heartache of struggling to find a wrong or gone through the recruiting process which I solve or found it difficult in some sort way.

00:01:22: So i think having early people come in and absolutely understand The core what you are trying to achieve Now we weren't having to educate them on Copland.

00:01:32: They understood with Copland then realised that Copland man when You build your core team out even the first five or six People deeply understand it.

00:01:42: They've stayed like this for such a long time, I think because they're so connected to exactly what we were trying to improve which is

00:01:50: Right Which stem and there must come a time where your Finger on the pulse isn't quite the same in terms of partly cuz The company services evolved away from that very specific partly because inevitably getting a little bit further away from that student experience.

00:02:16: Yeah, well What was your experience of having to manage?

00:02:22: To when you weren't kind of living the living?

00:02:25: the solution so speak.

00:02:27: You want what you wouldn't like.

00:02:30: the customer right there is yeah around ICP.

00:02:33: Yeah

00:02:34: We were so connected to this student market and say we recruited some students because a lot of marketing team was going out to connect your students and the best way to do that for us is peer-to-peer, sending you a forty year old out on campus who gets effective at their twenty year olds in terms of getting people signed up or into chat with them.

00:02:52: So I think continually engaging with understanding our audience as it evolved each year we got further away from what i think was crucial Because our lenses have changed our target audience today and the sort of websites they'd use, the way they used AI.

00:03:11: The way they use any kind tech is a long way away from

00:03:15: how

00:03:16: I would use it so i'm not my own target audience anymore which was up a big selling point when we first started.
